This lower level of a Samuel Maclure home has seen many uses over the years, and when the current owners purchased this property they envisioned a space where all the family could come together to hang out, play games and watch movies. 

They had a few prerequisites for reclaimed materials and an industrial look. With the design expertise of Jody Foster Design and our execution this came to life with reclaimed wood used for flooring, old barn boards used as feature wall paneling and train box car planks used for countertops and stair treads. Plus, with the added accents of exposed structural steel beams and posts replacing wood structural details it was exactly what the owners had envisioned and has become one of our favourite renovations.
